Cynthia Mercer, MD

Dr. Cynthia “Cindy” Mercer is a board-certified OB/GYN and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. She practiced in Athens, Georgia for nearly 40 years, delivering exceptional care and dedication to the women in her community. Throughout her career, she has provided comprehensive women’s healthcare with skill, compassion, and excellence.

Today, Dr. Mercer continues to pursue her passion for serving others through ongoing leadership in the medical field. She currently serves on the board of the Georgia Obstetrics and Gynecology Society and is an active member of the Georgia Board of Public Health, reappointed by Governor Brian Kemp. Additionally, she is a member of the MCG/Wellstar Regional Health Board.

 Dr. Mercer has joined FINISH as our Consultant Women’s Health Coach. She will be working closely with clients, offering expert guidance and support on their health journeys — with a special focus on women’s health and wellness.
